“The Truth, Crois Moi” was born during one of the darkest seasons of my spiritual journey. When my spirit feels low, my heart and mind usually follow. Everything becomes heavy — school, simple conversations with friends and family, even singing, which is something I deeply love. What once brought me joy started to feel like a burden.
God has always been like my best friend, but during that time, I felt myself drifting away. I knew I needed to reconnect with Him — I even knew how — but I couldn’t bring myself to open my Bible or pray. It felt like there was a wall between us. Even though I was surrounded by wonderful, caring people, I still felt completely alone.
Then, out of nowhere, this song came to me. In less than two hours, it was written. And honestly, it wasn’t just me — it was God. Every word and every melody felt inspired by Him. Through this song, He reminded me that even in my silence, He was still close.
God placed it on my heart not to keep this song to myself. I believe it’s meant for anyone who might be feeling the same way — lost, tired, or distant from Him. My hope is that “The Truth, Crois Moi” reminds every listener that they are never alone. No matter how far we drift, God never stops loving us. He calls us worthy, even when we struggle to see it ourselves.
